Utility Infrastructure Providers (or UIPs) design and construct utility infrastructure on behalf of their customers and the subsequent UIP network is adopted by the utility owner for the remainder of its lifetime.
The proposed Utility owner will only connect, or allow to be connected new pipes or systems that are fit for purpose and satisfy technical and contractual requirements. To achieve these UIPs must follow the Utility Company’s published adoption and connection procedures.
Part of this adoption process is to ensure that all the required legal documentation is in place.
Easement Solutions has worked continuously with these companies and understands fully their requirements where apparatus is to be installed on private land.
